Uganda: Government and doctors insist circumcision reduces HIV spread

Local HIV/Aids researchers and the medical fraternity have dismissed the findings of a new research that questions the effectiveness of male circumcision in curtailing the spread of HIV virus. Namibian Health Insurance Board Approves Male Circumcision Fee

The decision allows private providers to be reimbursed at a fixed rate for performing male circumcisions for HIV prevention using the clinical guidelines set by the World Health Organization and the Namibian Ministry of Health and Social Services.
